As an experienced Sprinkler Fitter, you will inspect, service, and repair various types of Fire Protection Sprinkler Systems and assist Fire Alarm Technicians with a variety of services. Key Responsibilities: • Complete testing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of Fire Sprinkler Systems as per the 2018 BC Fire Code and NFPA 25 requirements. • Accurate and timely completion of all Electronic Inspection Reports and other relevant documentation. • Assist technicians with the testing, inspection, and maintenance of Fire and Life Safety Equipment. • Maintain up to date knowledge on new industry standards, product changes, and industry best practices. • Work 40hrs per week (participate in overtime and on-call rotation as needed). • Adhere to and promote the company's core values, processes, policies and Occupational Health and Safety protocols. • Additional duties as they may arise. The ideal candidate would have the following strengths and experience: • Journeymen Sprinkler Fitting ticket. • A desire to become certified with ASTTBC and or CFAA. • Experience installing and servicing Sprinkler Systems and associated piping. • Great Customer Service Skills. • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. • Valid BC Drivers License. • Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. • Must be self-motivated, resourceful, and proactive. • Must have excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) and a positive friendly attitude.
